New build development, Clacton-on-Sea
Four homes built from a cleared plot through to handover, on the corner of Thoroughgood Road and Northbourne Road in Clacton-on-Sea.
Everything was run in house : groundworks and foundations, the structural shell, roof, first and second fix, external works and the block paving. One programme, one point of contact, and the build ran straight through the winter.
Demolition and new build, St Osyth
An existing property taken down and two new homes built in its place at St Osyth, near Clacton.
A demolition and rebuild asks more of a builder than a clear plot does. The site had to be stripped, cleared and re-serviced before a single foundation went in.
New build homes, Colchester
New homes built in Colchester, taken from a cleared plot to a finished, gated frontage.
Traditional brick and slate with chimneys, detailed to sit properly alongside the existing street rather than announce itself. Driveways, boundary fencing and planting were all part of the same programme.
Single storey rear extension, Brentwood
A single storey rear extension in Brentwood, opening the back of the house onto the garden.
Steel installed to take the existing structure, a full pitched roof with a large rooflight, and bi-folding doors across the rear.
